Who we are

Beehive Tickets is an independent resale marketplace, operated by Beehive Tickets LLC, a Utah limited liability company, where fans buy and sell tickets to Utah Jazz, Utah Mammoth, Real Salt Lake, BYU football, University of Utah football, and Utah State football games directly with each other. We are not the original seller of any ticket and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Utah Jazz, Utah Mammoth, Smith Entertainment Group, SeatGeek, Real Salt Lake, MLS, Brigham Young University, the University of Utah, Utah State University, the Big 12, the Pac-12, Paciolan, the NBA, or the NHL. Ticket prices are set by sellers and may be above or below face value.

Eligibility & your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Beehive Tickets.
• Keep your account information accurate, maintain one account per person, and don't share access to it. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• By using the marketplace you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.

How a sale works

When a buyer pays, the money is held by our payment processor (Stripe) and is not released to the seller until the buyer confirms the tickets arrived, or the order auto-completes 24 hours after the event starts with no problem reported. The seller must deliver the exact listed tickets via the team's official ticket transfer system to the buyer's designated email or mobile number before the stated deadline. All prices are shown all-in at checkout: the ticket price plus our 10% service fee (minimum $2.00; promotional rates may apply).

Seller obligations

• Only list tickets you currently hold and have the right to sell. By listing, you represent that your sale and transfer do not violate any agreement you have with the ticket issuer (including any season ticket agreement) or the platform that holds your tickets. Compliance with those agreements is your responsibility, not ours.
• Student and restricted tickets cannot be listed. BYU ROC passes and student claimed tickets, University of Utah MUSS passes and student tickets, and any other ticket the issuer designates as non-transferable are prohibited on Beehive. The schools revoke these passes when they're resold, which harms the buyer, the seller, and the student. By listing a BYU or Utah football ticket you represent that it is a standard public ticket purchased as a consumer and that it is transferable through the school's official ticket system. Listings found to be student or restricted tickets are removed and the orders refunded; repeat attempts suspend selling.
• Transfer the exact tickets listed (section, row, seats) before the deadline shown on the order. You perform the transfer yourself, from your own account on the team's official ticket platform.
• Remove listings for the same tickets from other platforms once they sell here, and don't list the same seats for sale in two places at once. Selling tickets you no longer control is fraud.
• Missed deadlines refund the buyer in full automatically and count as a strike. One strike is a warning; two strikes suspend selling pending review. Deliberate fraud (including marking a transfer as sent when none was made, or recalling a pending transfer after marking it sent) results in immediate permanent removal on the first offense.
• If an event is cancelled without rescheduling, the order is refunded to the buyer and any payout already made to you for that order is reversed. By selling you authorize this reversal; ticket issuers refund the original ticket holder for cancelled events, so a reversal leaves you where you started.
• Payouts require completing Stripe's identity and bank verification. Sales tax and income tax obligations are yours; Stripe issues 1099-K forms where required.

Buyer protections

• If tickets are not transferred by the deadline, you receive a full refund including all fees, automatically.
• If a transfer hasn't arrived after the seller marks it sent, flagging it on your order pauses payment and automatic completion while the seller re-checks. Flags unresolved after 12 hours become disputes, which a human reviews within 24 hours. Official transfer records decide. A transfer you accepted is conclusive proof of delivery.
• Once you confirm receipt, or 24 hours pass after the event starts with no problem reported, the sale is final. If your ticket fails to admit you at the venue, report it within 24 hours of the event start and we will review the transfer records and make it right.
• False claims of non-receipt count as strikes and may result in suspension. Card chargebacks filed after confirming receipt in the app will be contested with delivery evidence and result in account closure.
• If an event is cancelled without rescheduling, orders are refunded in full, funded by reversing the seller's payout for that order. Postponed events: tickets remain valid for the new date and sales stand.

Tickets live on third-party platforms

Tickets sold here are issued by teams and delivered through each team's free official peer-to-peer transfer (SeatGeek for the Jazz, Mammoth, and Real Salt Lake; Paciolan-based school accounts for BYU, Utah, and Utah State football). We have no control over, and no responsibility for, actions taken by ticket issuers or ticketing platforms, including transfer delays, barcode release timing, event changes, or decisions they make about their own accounts and policies. Buyers may need a free account on the relevant platform to receive tickets. Utah law generally protects the resale and transfer of event tickets; nothing on this site is legal advice about your own agreements.

Payments

All payments are processed by Stripe. We never store card numbers or bank details. Seller payouts are made to the bank account on the seller's Stripe Express account. We may delay, withhold, or reverse payouts where fraud is suspected, a dispute is open, or the underlying event is cancelled without rescheduling. If a buyer's payment is charged back after a seller has been paid, we may recover that amount from the seller responsible for the underlying order when the chargeback results from the seller's breach of these terms. Likewise, if transferred tickets are refused at the venue because they were revoked, invalidated, or otherwise rendered unusable by circumstances within the seller's control, we may refund the buyer in full, reverse the seller's payout, and record a strike against the seller's account; repeated strikes end selling privileges.

Prohibited conduct

Listing tickets you don't possess, speculative listings, listing student or otherwise non-transferable tickets, bots, scraping or automated access to the marketplace, fee circumvention, harassment, or any unlawful activity will result in immediate suspension and forfeiture of pending payouts to the extent permitted by law.

Suspension & termination

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or create fraud risk. Orders already in progress are completed or refunded under the rules above. You may close your account at any time; obligations from existing orders survive.

Liability

The marketplace is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount of the order giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. We are a venue for fan-to-fan transactions; the ticket contract is between buyer and seller. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms or your violation of a third party's rights or agreements.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the marketplace evolves. We'll post the new version here with an updated date, and material changes will be announced by email. Continued use after a change means you accept it; orders placed before a change are governed by the terms in effect when the order was placed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
