How to sell Utah Jazz tickets and keep all the money
Selling Jazz tickets is a three-step job: list the seats, send the official SeatGeek transfer when they sell, and get paid once the buyer confirms. On Beehive you keep 100% of the price you set, so the only real decisions are what to charge and how you want to handle a season's worth of games. Here's the whole process.
What you need before you start
- Your tickets in your SeatGeek account. That's where the Jazz issue mobile tickets, and it's where transfers come from.
- A Beehive account, which is just an email address. Listing takes about a minute.
Step 1: list your seats
Pick the game, choose your section and row from the Delta Center chart, add one box per seat, and set your price per ticket. You keep every dollar of that price. The buyer pays the service fee on top, and they see the all-in total before checkout, so there's no haggling about who eats the fees later.
You also choose how the seats can be split: sold all together, any split, or any split that never strands a single seat. If you'd rather set a price and forget it, the auto-lower option drops your price once a day until a floor you pick, and fans watching the listing get notified on every drop.
Step 2: when they sell
You get an email (and a push notification if you have the app) the moment your seats sell. From there you have 48 hours to send the SeatGeek transfer to the buyer's email, which is shown on your order page. It's the same free transfer you'd use to send tickets to a friend: SeatGeek app, select the tickets, transfer, paste the email.
Most sellers send well inside the window. If the deadline ever passes without a transfer, the buyer gets an automatic full refund, which is exactly why buyers trust the marketplace enough to buy your seats in the first place.
Step 3: getting paid
Stripe holds the buyer's payment from checkout until the buyer confirms the tickets arrived. Once they confirm, your payout is released to your bank. Before your first payout you'll connect a bank account through Stripe, a one-time setup that takes about two minutes and verifies your identity, which also puts an ID verified badge on your listings.
Pricing your seats
Check what other fans are asking for similar sections on the game page before you price. Because Beehive's buyer fee is a flat one, your listing shows up meaningfully cheaper all-in than the same price on a big resale site, so you don't have to undercut on the sticker to win on the total.
Season ticket holders
Verify your seats once with a billing screenshot and every listing of those seats carries a verified badge buyers look for. The bulk lister posts the same seats across as many games as you check in one pass, each game at its own price, and you can pause or reprice any of them as the season moves.
