How to sell Real Salt Lake tickets and keep all the money
Selling Real Salt Lake tickets on Beehive comes down to four steps: list the seats, confirm the sale when they sell, send the official SeatGeek transfer, and get paid once the buyer has them. You keep 100% of the price you set, so the only real question is what to ask.
What you need before you start
- Your tickets in your SeatGeek account. That's where Real Salt Lake mobile tickets live, and it's where transfers come from.
- A Beehive account. You sign in with your email, and there's no password: we email you a link.
- A verified mobile number. The first time you list, we text you a code. It's how we reach you the moment your seats sell.
Step 1: list your seats
Pick the match, choose your section and row from the America First Field chart, add one box per seat, and set your price per ticket. You keep every dollar of that price. The buyer pays a flat 10% service fee on top, and sees the full total before they pay.
Got safe standing or South Goal general admission? Check "General admission / safe standing" and enter how many tickets you're selling instead of seat numbers.
Then choose how the seats can be split: all together, any split, any split that never leaves a single seat behind, or even numbers only. You can also let buyers make offers below your price, and turn on auto-lower to drop the price once a day down to a floor you set.
Step 2: confirm the sale
When your seats sell you get an email, a text, and a push notification if you have the app. Open the order and tap "Confirm sale, I have the tickets". You have 6 hours. On match day the window is shorter, from 90 minutes down to 20 as the start gets close.
Confirming is what charges the buyer's card, and it shows you their SeatGeek email on your order page. If you can't confirm in time, the sale simply cancels: the buyer is never charged, your listing is paused, and it doesn't count against you.
Step 3: send the SeatGeek transfer
Copy the buyer's email from your order page with the Copy button. In the SeatGeek app, open your Real Salt Lake tickets, select the seats, tap Transfer, and paste the email. It's the same free transfer you'd use to send tickets to a friend.
Then tap "I've sent the ticket transfer" on Beehive. You can attach SeatGeek's confirmation screenshot too, which protects you if anything is ever disputed. The deadline is on your order page: up to 48 hours from the sale, shorter as the match gets close. If it passes without a transfer, the buyer is refunded automatically and your profile gets a strike. A second strike ends selling on Beehive.
Step 4: get paid
Stripe holds the buyer's payment until they confirm the tickets arrived, then your payout is released. If they never confirm, it releases automatically 24 hours after the match.
Before your first payout you'll connect a bank account through Stripe. It's a one-time setup that takes about two minutes, verifies your identity, and puts an ID verified badge on your listings. After that, deposits usually land within two business days.
Offers and counters
If you allow offers, buyers can offer less than your asking price, and the full amount is held on their card while you decide. You can accept, decline, or counter once with a price in between. A counter stays open for 24 hours, and your seats stay on sale the whole time, so a full-price buyer can still grab them.
Pricing your seats
Check what other fans are asking for similar sections on the match page before you price. Because Beehive's buyer fee is a flat one, your listing shows up meaningfully cheaper all-in than the same price on a big resale site, so you don't have to undercut on the sticker to win on the total.
Season ticket holders
Verify your seats once with a billing screenshot and every listing of those seats carries a verified badge buyers look for. The bulk lister posts the same seats across as many matches as you check in one pass, each at its own price, and you can pause or reprice any of them as the season moves.
